The GODHEAD Part 2

November 25, 2020

In this Scriptures study we will address some CONTROVERSIES OF THE GODHEAD like; Who was Messiah praying to, the baptism of Messiah and others.

THE KING, THE FIRST AND THE LAST
Isa 44:6 Thus saith YHWH the King of Israel, and his redeemer YHWH of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no Elohim (God).
YHWH is the King of Israel, YHWH said that He is the first and the last, and besides Him there is no Elohim (God). There is no Elohim (God) next or besides Him in heaven or earth.

Rev 1:8, 11 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith YHWH, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Verses 8, 11: YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) is speaking because the text is in red and He is called the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and last, the one which is, which was and which is to come, the Almighty. YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) is the Almighty Elohim (God). YHWH IN flesh.

Rev 1:17-18 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
The first and the last is the one which was dead but is alive forevermore, and has the keys of hell and death. This has to be YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) because the flesh is all that could die.

Zec 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Israel’s King will come to them riding on the colt of a donkey. We see this fulfilled in the next verses.

Mat 21:2 – 9 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, YHWH hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. And the disciples went, and did as YHWH commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of YHWH; Hosanna in the highest.
YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) fulfilled the prophecy of Zechariah in these verses. Proving He is the ONE King of Israel. Israel doesn’t have two Kings, only one which is YHWH.
Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him
YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) was born King of the Jews. This is Israel King wrapped in a robe of flesh.

1Tim 6:14 – 16 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Master (YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah)): Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
In verse 15 it use the pronoun HE that refers back to the Messiah. The Messiah or that fleshly sacrifice is going to show who is the Kings of Kings and Adonai of Adonais, which is the spirit of YHWH. How do we know this? Because if you continue to read it says; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see Those scriptures are referring to the Spirit of YHWH.
You don’t have two or three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead but only One Spirit (YHWH) who was manifested (which means seen) in the flesh.

PROPHESY OF THE OLD TESTAMENT, FULFILLED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.
Isa 35:4-6 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your Elohim (God) will come with vengeance, even Elohim (God) with a recompense; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
He prophesied that Elohim (God) YHWH (remember Isaiah’s other prophesies about there only being one Elohim (God)) would come and save them and they would see the glory of YHWH. When this Elohim (God) comes (YHWH) the blind would see, the deaf would hear, the lame would walk and the dumb would talk.

Isa 42:5-8 Thus saith Elohim (God) YHWH, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I, YHWH, have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am YHWH that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
When the Messiah comes He will be a light to the gentiles, open the blind eyes, bring prisoners from the prison house I am the LORD, LORD not a name but only a title, when we replace the word LORD with His name it would say “I am YHWH that is my name” and His glory He will not give to another.

Isa 48:11-13 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
Do we unknowily pollute Elohim (God)’s name by using another name other than His true name. He will not give His glory to another. YHWH is a jealous Elohim (God). Why would YHWH not come Himself and redeem us? He is our Creator and He love us with and everlasting love. If there was another Spirit up in heaven or more than one person in the Godhead, why would the Father send someone else? Perfect love is that the Father came Himself IN Flesh and saved us I am He; I am the first and the last.

Isa 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of YHWH, make straight in the desert a highway for our Elohim (God). Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of YHWH shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of YHWH hath spoken it.
This scripture is a prophesy about John the Baptist. The voice crying in the wilderness would prepare the way for YHWH, and His glory would be revealed. Remember the previous verses where YHWH said that He would not give His glory to another. John wasn’t preparing the way for Jesus or Yeshua or Yahshua according to this scripture but for YHWH. We see this fulfilled in the next verses.

Mat 3:1 -3 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of YHWH, make his paths straight.
John the Baptist was the one who, was the voice in the wilderness who came to prepare the way of YHWH. (The one Elohim (God) of the Old Testament.)

Luk 7:20-22 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Then YHWH answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
John sent word from prison to ask YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) if He was the one who was to come. YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) simply answered him reminding him of the fulfillment of prophesy. The blind see, the lame walk, deaf hear, and the gospel is preached assuring John that He was the Messiah.

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
This is the fulfillment of Isaiah 40:5, the glory of YHWH was revealed in YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) . Remember, YHWH will not give His glory or share His glory with another.

Mal 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith YHWH of hosts.
YHWH said that His name would be great among the Gentiles and the heathen and incense (prayer) would be offered in his name. This has to be speaking of the times of YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) Because that is when this prophesy to the gentiles was fulfilled.

Mal 2:10 Have we not all one father? hath not one Elohim (God) created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
We all have one father and were created by one Elohim (God) and those who were not obeying this were profaning the covenant of our fathers. What covenant? (that YHWH our Elohim (God) is one YHWH) This proves Elohim (God) does care if we understand who He is and that we must lay it to heart to love and teach that truth.

THE CONTROVERSIES OF THE GODHEAD
LAMB-FLESH; ELOHIM (God)-SPIRIT
(Comment: We realize there are some scriptures that seem to indicate that Elohim (God) could be a trinity or two persons, unless you take the rest of the scriptures on that subject and compare them. The purpose of this part of the study is to answer these contentions scripturally.)
Rev 5:1-7 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim (God) sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. Verse 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our Elohim (God) which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
Some read this and say there are two up in heaven because the Lamb took the book from him that was on the throne. Remember, that the Lamb is the flesh but Elohim (God) is a Spirit, that is on the throne and cannot die. The Lamb is called Root of David (according to the flesh) which was slain.

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to Elohim (God) by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Flesh died; humanity died, the flesh redeemed us so we could be back in fellowship with the Spirit, so that is why he was able to open the book. The flesh had been tempted in all points but without sin, yet He gave His life a ransom for others to redeem them by His blood.

1Ti 2:5 For there is one Elohim (God), and one mediator between Elohim (God) and men, the man Messiah YHWH.
There is one Elohim (God) (Spirit) and one mediator between Elohim (God) and man, the man (flesh, lamb) YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah).

2Co 5:19 To wit, that Elohim (God) was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Spirit of YHWH was inside the Flesh of the Messiah. Flesh was only a sacrifice for our sins. All throughout the Tanakh [Old Testament] they offered animal sacrifice to atone for sin, but the animal sacrifices were not sufficient. In Hebrews it says that the blood of bulls and goats could never take away sins. It took the perfect sacrifice, the perfect Lamb, sinless blood to once and for all atone for our sins. YHWH Himself coming down to become our Passover Lamb.

Heb 7:24-25 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto Elohim (God) by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
The man (flesh, lamb) is able to make intercession to the Spirit (Elohim (God) on the throne in Revelation) for us.

LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE
Gen 1:26 -27 And Elohim (God) said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So Elohim (God) created man in his own image, in the image of Elohim (God) created he him; male and female created he them.
Many people contend from these scriptures that Elohim (God) is two persons or a trinity. The Scriptures show that Elohim (God) was counseling with His own will in the presence of His angels and by His prophetic wisdom spoke of things that be not as though they were. From this one scripture it would be impossible to tell which is correct, so we must search other scriptures that will allow the word of Elohim (God) to flow in perfect harmony. I believe that for Elohim (God) to be speaking to a trinity of persons or Gods would contradict the first commandment, which is the greatest commandment, that YHWH our Elohim (God) is one YHWH. Some even contend that the word Elohim translated Lord here is a plural term, but even the Jewish scholars say it means plural in attributes and not number of persons. Also, it further says in verse 27 that Elohim (God) made man in His own image the word “his” being a singular pronoun, and didn’t use the pronoun “their” suggesting more than one Elohim (God) or more than one Spirit or person in the Godhead.

Gen 11:6-7 And YHWH said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
Elohim (God) always used angels to carry out His biddings, so I feel He was speaking to His angels here. (See next scripture also.)

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Angels existed before the creation of the earth. He placed cherubims at the entrance to the garden. YHWH has always used angels and the angels were present at creation.

Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Vesrse 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim (God) shouted for joy?
Elohim (God) is speaking of the time of creation. The angels were there because He said the sons of Elohim (God) (angels) shouted for joy. So Elohim (God) was speaking to His ministering Spirits (angels) who were with Him at creation.

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
He works everything after the council of His own will. This says He counseled with His own will not other gods or persons, yet He spoke in the presence of His angels. (Example-Boss on job counseling with himself in the presence of his men, but he is the one in authority.)

Isa 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old: for I am Elohim (God), and there is none else; I am Elohim (God), and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
YHWH is Elohim (God), there is none like Him. He declares the end from the beginning and His council will stand. The word council in the Hebrew means advise, plan or purpose.

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) was the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. He was slain in the plan of Elohim (God), but not fulfilled until almost 2,000 years ago.

1Pe 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
The Messiah was foreordained before the foundation of the world (in the plan of Elohim (God), the mind of Elohim (God), the purpose of Elohim (God)), but manifest in these last times for us.

Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, Elohim (God) (Spirit) sent forth his Son (flesh), made of a woman, made under the law,
When the fullness of time was come (according to the plan), He sent forth His Son. How? Made of a woman, made under the law dispensation.

THE WISDOM OF ELOHIM (God)
Pro 8:22 -30 YHWH possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
Some feel this is the Son speaking here, but to see who is speaking, let’s look at two verses that tell who is speaking. We have to keep verses in context by reading before and after the verses. To find out who is speaking let’s take a look at the previous verses and following verses.

Pro 8:1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? Verse 12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. Pro 9:1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
According to the previous verses and the following verses the Wisdom of Elohim (God) is speaking. In fact the whole chapter 8 and most of chapter 9 is speaking about the wisdom of Elohim (God). Remember chapters and verses were added to the Scriptures by man for reference, but when the Tanach and New Covenant was written by the prophets and apostles there were no chapters and verses. Remember, Elohim (God) counseled with His own will, made a plan from the beginning and spoke of things that be not as though they were. The son only existed in the wisdom and plan of Elohim (God), until He was born at Bethlehem.

RIGHT HAND OF ELOHIM (God)
Act 7:55-56 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of Elohim (God), and YHWH the Messiah standing on the right hand of Elohim (God), And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of Elohim (God).
Stephen did not say he saw two people but the glory of Elohim (God) and YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) on the right hand. He was not speaking of a geographical location (how do you get on one side of a Spirit that is everywhere?) but right hand is a Jewish term that speaks of being in a place of power, authority , and a position of honor. He saw YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) in His exalted position that was prophesied in the scripture. The next scripture will make this clear. Right hand is also a place of acceptance with Elohim (God). Example: At the judgment, sheep (saints) on the right hand (place of acceptance), goats (sinners) on the left hand (Place of rejection by Elohim (God))

Mar 14:62 And YHWH said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
He shall be sitting on the right hand of power (not a person). This is describing His exalted position at His return as Lord of lords and King of kings.

Mat 28:18 And YHWH came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
All power in heaven and in earth was given to YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah).

Exo 15:6-8 Thy right hand, O YHWH, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O YHWH, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble. And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. Verses 12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
The Tanakh [Old Testament] should be used when we are studying the New Covenant because the foundation is the Tanakh. Human terminology is often used in the Scriptures to describe a Spiritual truth. Here we have two more examples of this. It says the right hand of Elohim (God) has dashed thy enemy to pieces. A big right hand did not come down and start smashing the enemy, but the enemy was destroyed by the power of Elohim (God). By the blast of thy nostrils, the waters stood up. A big nose did not come out of heaven and blow on the water, but the power of Elohim (God) made the waters divide. Verses 12 The enemy was swallowed by the power of Elohim (God).

Psa 20:6 Now know I that YHWH saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Psa 21:8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Verse 6: This speaks of the strength of His right hand letting us know it is a symbol of power. Verse 8: Right hand here speaks of the power and ability of Elohim (God) to find and judge all things.

Psa 118:15-16 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of YHWH doeth valiantly. The right hand of YHWH is exalted: the right hand of YHWH doeth valiantly.
These Scriptures speak of the strength of Elohim (God) and that the right hand of YHWH is exalted and does valiantly; which again means it is an exalted place of power with Elohim (God).

Hab 2:16 Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the YHWH’S right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.
Here the cup of YHWH’s right hand speaks of the powerful wrath of Elohim (God).

Isa 48:13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
Here the right hand symbolizes the power of creation.

Isa 63:12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
Right hand here symbolizes the power of Elohim (God) working through Moses to lead the children of Israel from Egypt.

Luk 11:20 But if I with the finger of Elohim (God) cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of Elohim (God) is come upon you.
The finger of Elohim (God) here symbolizes the power of Elohim (God) to cast out devils. If you try to make it literal, you would have YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) reaching up into heaven, grabbing a big finger, reaching inside people with it and casting out devils. So remember, you cannot make Elohim (God) a human, He is an omnipresent Spirit.
I would like to close this section by saying, when we read about Elohim (God)’s eyes, nostrils, heart, feet, hands, and wings, the Scriptures does not use these terms to describe a physical being, but to give us insight into the nature, character, and attributes of Elohim (God).

WHO WAS YHWH HA MASHIACH (THE MESSIAH) PRAYING TO?
Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour YHWH the Messiah cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My Elohim (God), my Elohim (God), why hast thou forsaken me?
Humanity (the fleshly man that was about to die) was crying out to divinity (Spirit of Elohim (God) which can never die).

Mat 26:39-42 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
This is another example of the humanity praying to the Spirit. The will of the flesh was to live, but the son (flesh) knew it was the will of Elohim (God) (Father, Spirit) to die for the redemption of lost souls. If He was a co-equal Elohim (God), why would He pray to another Elohim (God). We have to remember that the Messiah was both Elohim (God) and man.

BAPTISM OF YHWH HA MASHIACH (THE MESSIAH)
Mat 3:16-17 And YHWH, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of Elohim (God) descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Some feel that this means Elohim (God) is two or three persons, but let us examine what we actually have here. We have the body of YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) (flesh), the Spirit manifesting itself in the form of a dove (Elohim (God) is not really a bird), and the voice of Elohim (God) that speaks. This does not indicate more than one Elohim (God) at all and we will see the purpose for this explained in the book of John.

Joh 1:32-34 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Spirit. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of Elohim (God).
The Spirit manifesting itself in the form of a dove was a sign to John that this definitely was the one who would baptize with the Holy Spirit, so there had to be a visible manifestation of the Spirit that John could see.

Act 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of Elohim (God) exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Elohim (God) (Spirit) exalted the Son (flesh) and anointed Him with His Spirit (Holy Spirit). If He was a co-equal Elohim (God) this would not have been necessary.

THE END COMES
1Co 15:24-28 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to Elohim (God), even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that Elohim (God) may be all in all.
This speaks of a time when the office of the Sonship (mediator, intercessor) will end and He will be known not as son, but as the Almighty Elohim (God); and, Elohim (God) will be all in all.

Joh 17:4-5 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) here is wanting to be glorified with the same glory He had in the beginning. He was the Supreme Lord and ruler who was all in all, unlimited by a fleshly body and the sonship office. He is praying to someday have that same glory when His work as the son is finished. He will become this during His eternal reign. He will be one YHWH and His name one.

Act 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of (YHWH Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom Elohim (God) raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
There is no other name that will save you. We must believe YHWH our Elohim (God) is one YHWH and His name is one. Then we must receive that name in water baptism for the remission of our sins.

Conclusion: I would like to close this study by saying according to scripture (Tanach) that Elohim (God) is One. To try to make Him out to be more than one Spirit or person is breaking the Ten Commandments. YHWH is not a plurality of Gods or persons but One Elohim (God) taking on three different roles or offices. We understand this in the natural where one person can do many different jobs and have many different titles but why is it so hard for us to believe that Elohim (God) is the same way? One Elohim (God) with three different roles: YHWH is our Father in Creation, YHWH is the Son in redemption, YHWH is the Holy Spirit in His activity with mankind.

Acts 2:38

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yahwah Ha Mashiach for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
